Introduction

This is the end result of the conversion process that is laid out before you in these pages.

In this example I am starting with a replica Graflex that has EL electronics installed inside of the main tube. And the end result will produce a working EL hilt built to look like the lightsaber that Darth Vader used in ROTJ as seen above. Most of the following step are the same for converting any style of Graflex flash tube into the DV ROTJ but most of the later information deals mainly with reinstalling the EL electronics. Below is the way a Graflex looks before being modified.
